The Gypsy King Tyson Fury battled in an epic trilogy against Deontay Wilder and in one fight was put on the canvas and looked out cold yet got back up and amazingly drew the fight but he defeated Wilder for the WBC/Lineal/Ring-Magazine heavyweight world champion in one of the best fights of our lifetime.
Tyson Fury is having this homecoming for an all-British fight against WBC interim champion Dillian Whyte on Saturday, April 23 at London’s Wembley Stadium
Fury-Whyte will be live on BT Sport Box Office in the UK and Pay-Per-View in the US.
Promoted by the one and only Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions and Top Rank, tickets will be on sale exclusively from Ticketmaster at MIDDAY on Wednesday, March 2. The Gypsy King Tyson Fury v Dilian Body Snatcher Whyte fight at Wembley Stadium is tipped to be a sell-out. Fury is the number 1 heavyweight in the world after his successful adventure across the Atlantic in his sensational trilogy against Deontay Wilder,” stated Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren. “The fact that this mandatory defense of his WBC title comes against another Brit only adds to the occasion. They are two of the biggest characters in British sport and both normally have plenty to say for themselves".
It is going to be an amazing night and I Personally can not wait, I would love to go VIP as would be a fight of a lifetime to be at and one of the biggest fights on the planet, Wow! A VIP ticket would be something out of this world! I have no idea how much the tickets will be but I assume that the price will be in the range of £40 top tier to £1000 ringside. I'm definitely going to this one
Bob Arum, chairman of Top Rank the winner of the purse bid, added: “Tyson Fury conquered America, and it is only fitting that he defends the heavyweight championship in a packed Wembley Stadium. Dillian Whyte has called for this fight for years, and while he is a deserving challenger, no heavyweight can match ‘The Gypsy King.’ This is going to be a momentous night of boxing with tens of thousands of fans in attendance at Wembley Stadium.”

Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs), based in Morecambe, Took on Wladimir Klitschko on November 28, 2015, and ended the nearly 10-year championship run of Wladimir Klitschko and made himself known and someone to be feared. Fury then took 2 years out due to personal reasons but returned to fight in June 2018 and took on and beat Sefer Seferi, in front of millions there was a comeback for the world title. He then went on to battle Wilder where he had his one and the only blemish on his record, a draw in December 2018. He soon got his revenge with the eventual stoppage in the fascinating trilogy ending it all against Americas Detony Wilder in February 2020 and finally in October 2021 with a real ding dong of a fight. He now has his first bout in London since February 2015 and who better to fight than his opponent Dillian Whyte who has been calling for this fight for a while now.

Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs), who is born and bred in Brixton, London, worked hard and has defeated fighters and earned the respect and will now fight with Fury. Whyte had a seven-year run as a world-level heavyweight with a lot of success. A 7th round TKO to Anthony Joshua in 2015 is one of his blemishes but if going to lose then at least he lost to the best and another undefeated fighter. With fury in his sights, Whyte went on to beat 11-fighters in a wild streak that included wins over Joseph Parker, Oscar Rivas, Lucas Browne, and Derek Chisora twice. Everything changed for Whyte when he suffered a ko to Alexander Povetkin in August 2020 however Whyte in true spirit and grit took his revenge in March 2021, knocking out Povetkin in the 4th round and regained his interim title and now stands in front of fury for and all British affair though Tyson Fury is calling himself an American Fighter now so not quite sure how the technical side of things will work out with the licenses etc...
Both fighters have gone into stealth mode and radio silence, it began with Whyte unusually being quiet on social media, causing many conspiracy theories and doubts. It was assumed by many Wyte was going to duck and predictions of Wyte not signing the all-important contract which all turned out to be nonsense. Fury reacted by doing the same saying he will be busy training and will not be talking anymore till closer to the fight.
Are you going to Wembley?
