Much to my delight

West Ham have enjoyed an impressive season under David Moyes Jarrod Bowen strides forward to have the sublime form Bowen's journey of non-league football to soaring in the Premier League.

manager Moyes recently said "You need people to stand up and Jarrod has been the one standing up and getting goals,"

Jarrod Bowen is maturing and His performance levels improve every time He seems to get better and better every time you watch him. He's getting them so many points.

I was gutted when West Ham just missed out on a Champions League place last season, however at the moment Bowen has has been a trusty left foot with 12 goals and nine assists in all competitions.

Bowen opened the scoring last Sunday providing path to the 2-2 away score to Leicester.

Bowen could be the the man to see the hammers qualifying for the Champions League for the first time ever.

Jamie Carragher stated "I'm just thinking, in that type of finish, it's reminiscent of someone like Robbie Fowler, that sort of player,"

Micah Richards also compliments Bowen saying "mind-blowing" and "instrumental" to West Ham's rise

The early days

Bowen was looking to quit the game aged 16, so none of this would have happened had he done that. Bowen originally started out pulling tractor tyres across a field to exercise as a teenager after a failed trial at Cardiff, he then went on to join local side Hereford youth team.

he helped the club escape relegation from the Football Conference in 2014, before his big move to Premier League side Hull. He scored 54 goals in 131 games, including 22 in the 2018-19 campaign.

Hull sold him to West Ham in January 2020 for £20m which now seems like a bargain, he aims to win his first cap during the friendlies and in a World Cup year. Three Lions squad has a lot of fire power and Bowen has a tough task ahead of him, but has already reached the final of the European Championship last summer. Gareth Southgate will have an eye on him in sure.

Team-mate Declan Rice is already established In the Three Lions squad and Bowen looks likely to follow

Clinton Morrison said "Jarrod Bowen is unstoppable at the moment," and Teddy Sheringham called Bowen "exciting, When you look at the other players that are in and around the England squad that could be picked, not many are playing with the distinction that he is."

The Hammers play Saturday at home against Newcastle then Wolves on Friday both to be played at home in the Premier League Rounds 26/27. Arsenal are sitting 2 points behind and Man United 2 points ahead and within striking distance.

Prediction #SCOTTYSSTATS

A win with a Bowen goal will keep the hammers in the top five and that is what I am predicting for this weekend.
